Just Something

2 min readMar 4, 2025

Oops so behind on this blog. Should’ve done a year recap and so many things have happened since the last post.

Things todo hopefully:

  • 2024 recap
  • More details into the marathons I did last year?
  • 2025 plan — something profound and extraordinary kinda like how 2015 changed everything sprinkled with the last 10 years of running/exercising on my own free will. So lots of throwback stuff I guess

But the last week was a great week! Lots of diverse experiences while keeping my 2025 routines (currently 2021 project) flowing.

Monday: Woke up late — but coincidentally Darius needed bike storage so I was able to help him out. Arc trainer, then MMMMMM run, then afternoon spin

Tuesday: Morning swim, then arc trainer, then nice trailish run with >1k vert, then quick spin in PM, then ff evening run. Everything went smoothly

Wednesday: Did the ff marathon training ‘speed’ workout in the AM which was meh I was tired. Then an hour spin. Then another hour spin in the PM with a bit more intensity

Thursday: Had to get up pretty early cause Axon snow day! So did a quick run followed by a quick swim. Then downhill skiing at crystal! It was a great day, and I didn’t want to risk too much so just kept it on the greens.

Friday: Swimming again! 2 days in a row for the first time ever maybe? Then wwtbc coffee run. Then PM spin

Saturday: A nice 29 mile run that had the ff marathon training sandwiched between. Then got my bike fixed and biked 51 miles, my longest ever! The last 10 miles were basically in the dark which was slower and creepier-ish. Barely bought enough nutrition.

Sunday: A easy run to start the day then a nice XC ski at Hyak! First time ever and it was pretty fun. Challenging but not impossible. Then a 45 min spin in PM. Then Tyler the Creator concert.

Yeah a long week overall, but one of the more eventful ones with more diverse sports (both indoor and outdoor). Got 28 hours of cardio in, but overall chill since a lot of it was skiing and low impact. Only bad part is that I super missed out on Pokemon Go Unova event. That era officially fades to grey I guess.
